About Me

Hey there! I'm Kate, a Connecticut native with a passion for the outdoors and adventure. Growing up, I spent my summers working at a local vet's office while juggling studies at the University of Vermont, where I earned a degree in Mathematics. After college, I took a leap and headed to South Africa to join iTeach, a program focused on improving HIV and TB care. That experience broadened my horizons and instilled in me a deep appreciation for creating data-driven insights to improve lives. Since then, I've worn many hats - from hospital quality control to healthcare operations analytics, clinical research, and strategy consulting. Each role has added a new layer to my skill set and taught me the importance of creative problem-solving.

I thrive on diving headfirst into new challenges, whether it's figuring out a solution to a complex issue or learning new skills.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life, like exploring a new corner of the world. I find inspiration in every new place I visit. I love cooking and hosting gatherings for my friends and family, creating moments of warmth and connection.

Ultimately, I'm a person with a knack for thinking outside the box and a genuine desire to make a positive impact wherever I go.
